Office 365 Business Center

Last summer Microsoft introduced the Microsoft Business Center2, which is a central dashboard from which you can manage several of the most important aspects of your small business. It is the launchpad from which you can leverage Connections, and email marketing platform; Outlook Customer Manager, a lightweight CRM for Outlook Online; Listings, which lets you establish and manage your business information across top websites; Bookings, an appointment scheduling app; Invoicing, for invoicing…; and MileIQ, for automatic mileage tracking.

Currently the only way to access the full complement of business apps is via Office 365 Business Premium or Microsoft 365. At the time this article was written only Bookings is available through other Office 365 subscriptions like E3/E5 and Microsoft 365 (not for ‘Business’…?).

Office 365 Business Premium is Office 365 tailored for small businesses and give you the full versions of Office apps such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as 1TB of cloud storage, business class email with a 50GB mailbox, business communication via Skype for Business (online meeting, IM & presence, and video calls).

Microsoft 365 Business has everything included in Office 365 Business Premium and enhanced security and Windows device management via Enterprise Mobility + Security and Windows 10. These improve your ability to protect company data, and control who has access to what and when, while allowing employees and business owners to access that same data from anywhere including personal mobile devices.
